Open a ready board of English meanings and Kiswahili words, match each pair and continue automatically, with optional topics, timing and your own local pack.
Useful to know
Can I start without uploading a word pack?
Yes. The first vocabulary board is ready to play with the retained word set. Personal packs and extra settings are optional. Pause and manual progression remain available.
Does this save learner data or upload my pack?
No learner-name field is provided. Text and progress stay in browser memory. Local JSON import reads a file on your device; it does not upload it. Download explicitly to preserve your own pack. Clear the workspace after use; downloaded files remain on your device.
Does a reviewer name in JSON make the pack approved?
No. A local file can only say unreviewed or author claims a review. The platform never trusts imported approval strings. Content changes reset a claimed review to unreviewed while keeping notes for context.
Can I import pictures, sound or videos?
This format supports plain text and references to 20 original bundled SVG pictures. It rejects remote URLs, data URLs, imported SVG, audio and video. It does not include KSL material, synthetic pronunciation or unverified indigenous-language translations.
What happens to apostrophes and accented characters?
Text is normalised to Unicode NFC. Spelling preserves meaningful apostrophes and diacritics. A pack can explicitly equate straight and curly apostrophes or ignore case, but it never removes punctuation. Typing copy tasks remain exact. Scored grapheme operations require a browser with Intl.Segmenter.
Where are my files and inputs processed?
This tool processes your entries on your device. It does not upload them or save them in an account. Downloads remain on your device; Reset clears the current tool workspace.
