Which rules or content edition is included?
Fill every white cell with a digit from 1 to 9. Each arrow clue totals the consecutive cells to its right or below. A digit may appear only once within that run. Select a cell. Type a digit or use the number pad. Arrow keys move through white cells; Backspace, Delete or zero clears an entry. N switches pencil notes on or off. Highlighted runs show the selected cell’s clues and running sums. Red warns about repeated digits or an impossible total, using the visible entries only. It does not compare your work with the hidden solution. Manual pencil notes and undo are ordinary solving aids. Reveal a cell and Auto-pencil mark the solve assisted. A revealed cell stays fixed, and undo history before that reveal is cleared. All 36 original puzzles have one independently checked solution: 12 Starter grids with 10 white cells, 12 Growing grids with 16, and 12 Challenge grids with 22. Best times compare the same exact puzzle; assisted and incomplete sessions are separate.
Does this save or upload my game?
Original Kakuro pack 1. Unique solutions were verified with an independent exhaustive constraint solver. No external puzzle grids copied. Optional clean solve times compare the exact puzzle ID; 10,000 edits and four active hours bound a session. Games stay in this tab. No server leaderboard, account or remote multiplayer is included.
Can I use a keyboard or phone?
Arrow keys move. 1–9 enters digits; N toggles notes; Backspace/Delete/0 clears. All actions also have touch controls.
Do I need to fill in the settings before I can play?
No. Quick play starts a complete built-in round with sensible defaults. Open Customise this game only when you want to change the available settings.
Where are my files and inputs processed?
Play stays in this browser, with no account or remote leaderboard. Personal bests are saved only if you enable that option. Reset clears the round; use Erase device scores to remove those optional records from this browser. Private prompts and answers are excluded from the shared summary actions.
