Is my signature uploaded or stored?
No. It is made in your browser and never sent anywhere. It is kept only if you tick “Remember”, and then only in this browser; untick it, or press Forget it, to remove it.
Is a signature made here legally valid in Kenya?
Kenya’s Business Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 lets most documents be signed electronically. A picture of your signature works for everyday forms, offer letters and agreements when both sides accept it. Some documents, such as land transfers, wills and some bank or court forms, still need a wet signature or an advanced electronic signature; check with whoever asked you to sign.
Can someone else sign after me?
Yes: send them the signed PDF and they can add their signature here the same way. Sending documents out for signing by email is not offered, because that needs a server.
Can I use a password-protected PDF?
Yes. You are asked for the password when you open it, and the signed file is saved without it (use Protect PDF to add one again).
Where are my files and inputs processed?
This tool processes your entries on your device. It does not upload them or save them in an account. Downloads remain on your device; Reset clears the current tool workspace.
