Is my signature uploaded or stored?
No. It is made in your browser and never sent anywhere. It is kept only if you tick “Remember”, and then only in this browser; untick it, or press Forget it, to remove it.
Is a signature made here legally valid in Kenya?
Kenya’s Business Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 lets most documents be signed electronically. A picture of your signature works for everyday forms, offer letters and agreements when both sides accept it. Some documents, such as land transfers, wills and some bank or court forms, still need a wet signature or an advanced electronic signature; check with whoever asked you to sign.
Why a transparent PNG?
The background is see-through, so the signature sits on the document’s own paper colour instead of a white box. Use JPG only where PNG is not accepted.
