Which tool should I use to analyze an existing website structure?
Use this Website Structure & Crawl Depth Analyzer for a live website. It reads public HTML links and sitemaps to inspect the existing link graph. The Visual Site Structure Designer is for planning a hierarchy manually.
What does the website structure analysis include?
The report shows discovered pages, internal links, shortest link paths from the starting page and possible orphan or unreachable pages. A disconnected group with incoming links is different from a page with no known incoming links. Results depend on the pages the scan could read.
Does it see JavaScript-only links or pages behind a login?
No. Website mode reads public server HTML without running page scripts and respects robots.txt. It cannot establish the complete structure of pages that require a login, depend on JavaScript rendering or remain undiscoverable. Reached limits and failures are reported as incomplete coverage.
Why can an unreachable URL have incoming links?
A disconnected group of pages can link to one another without any link path from your chosen root. That is an unreachable island rather than a zero-incoming orphan.
Where are my files and inputs processed?
Website URL scans send public page addresses to OnlineTools Kenya. Our server reads public HTML, robots.txt and sitemaps without running page scripts. CSV input stays on your device. Whole-website mode continues through discovered public HTML. Safety guards are 20,000 URLs, two hours and 2 GiB of HTML/robots downloads; any guard reached is reported as incomplete. Temporary scan sessions retain the website origin, limits, request counts, byte totals, expiry and a salted IP digest for up to two hours. HTML and results are not saved by this feature; hosting and security logs may retain request metadata.
