What is inside the downloaded pack?
A favicon.ico with 16, 32 and 48 pixel frames; individual 16, 32 and 48 pixel PNGs; a 180 pixel Apple touch icon; 192 and 512 pixel Android icons; a 512 pixel WordPress Site Icon; a 512 pixel maskable icon; an SVG snapshot; site.webmanifest; HTML tags; and installation notes.
Is the SVG download an editable vector drawing?
It is a self-contained SVG snapshot with the finished PNG image embedded inside. This preserves the appearance of uploaded images, fonts and emoji across computers. It does not convert a raster image or text into editable vector paths.
How do I install it on WordPress?
Upload wordpress-site-icon.png through Settings > General > Site Icon, or the Site Identity settings available in your theme. WordPress creates the icon links. For a different website, keep the downloaded icon files beside site.webmanifest and add the generated HTML tags to the page head.
Which SVG files can I upload?
Simple shapes, paths, groups, gradients and clipping are supported. Scripts, external resources, embedded images, filters, text elements and other complex SVG features are rejected. Export the original artwork to PNG if needed. Uploaded SVG is rebuilt from allowed elements and decoded as an image.
Will this make my website work offline?
The manifest supplies icon metadata. It does not add an offline app, a service worker or an installation script.
Where are my files and inputs processed?
This tool processes your entries on your device. It does not upload them or save them in an account. Downloads remain on your device; Reset clears the current tool workspace.
