Useful to know
Which content edition does this game use?
Twelve neutral procedural-history questions spanning 1963–2022. Learning mode is always unranked and untimed. The pack contains no voting recommendation, party preference, opinion scoring, current registration directions or candidate rankings. Reviewed 17 October 2026. The pack version is 2026.10.17-1.
Can I use a keyboard or phone?
Yes. Visible buttons support touch, Tab, Enter and Space. Answer cards add arrow navigation and number keys. Town matches use select-then-place controls, and timelines have move buttons plus Alt + Up/Down. Dragging is optional. Reduced-motion preferences are supported.
Can I inspect the facts and export my answers?
Each answer review includes its source link. The completed or early-ended session can be exported as JSON, CSV and a compact SVG score card. Topic source manifests list each entry, source URL and review date.
Are scores or answers sent to a server?
Game state stays in this browser tab. Pause and hidden-tab events stop active answer time and hide the board; Resume is explicit. Review time is excluded. Saving personal bests starts off on every visit and requires explicit opt-in. Local teams, untimed practice, incomplete rounds and zero-correct results are unranked. Election, officeholder and culture modes are always unranked. No accounts, remote multiplayer or server scores are used. JSON and CSV retain the full answer review; the SVG is a compact score card.
Do I need to fill in the settings before I can play?
No. Quick play starts a complete built-in round with sensible defaults. Open Customise this game only when you want to change the available settings.
How does automatic continuation work in this game?
Choose your answer, then read the explanation and source before the next card or final result follows automatically. Use Stay on this answer or Pause when you need more time, or turn off automatic continuation in the game preferences. Continue now remains available.
Where are my files and inputs processed?
Play stays in this browser, with no account or remote leaderboard. Personal bests are saved only if you enable that option. Reset clears the round; use Erase device scores to remove those optional records from this browser. Private prompts and answers are excluded from the shared summary actions.
