Useful to know
Where do the words come from?
Each word shows its sources. Kikamba, Maa and Kiswahili come mainly from Peace Corps Kenya course books written with Kenyan language teachers (public domain). Gĩkũyũ, Dholuo, Somali and parts of the others come from Wiktionary and Wikivoyage phrasebooks (CC BY-SA). Words found in two sources, or in a course book, are marked “Checked”; “Phrasebook only” words still need a second check.
